Harold Tyreman
Executive Director
Harold Tyreman has over 40 years of business experience in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. He has held a number of senior leadership roles in sales, marketing and business management. Harold retired from GOJO Industries, Inc in 2014 as the Vice President of their Automotive & Industrial channels and markets.
Harold joined the Lighthouse Board of Directors in 2011, became the Board Chair in 2016 and took over as the Executive Director of Lighthouse in January of 2017.
In addition to other outreach activities, Harold and his wife Judy, also lead short term construction mission teams to the Dominican Republic, which they have done since 2006.

Pastor Carnelle Stradford first experienced ministry as a young attendee in HeavenTrain, a program that highlights the importance of nurturing the next generation of Christian leaders and believers. Today, he serves faithfully as a preaching minister, continuing his lifelong commitment to spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
A proud veteran, Pastor Carnelle served as a lieutenant in the United States Air Force, where he had the opportunity to travel extensively across Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His global experiences have broadened his perspective and enriched his ministry work.
Since 2010, Pastor Carnelle has been active in ministry, serving in a variety of leadership roles, including that of senior pastor. He is an ordained minister and holds a Master of Divinity degree. He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology to further support the spiritual and emotional well-being of those he serves.
Pastor Carnelle is happily married and the proud father of two children. He remains dedicated to his faith, family, and calling.

Judy Tyreman
Volunteer Coordinator
Judy Tyreman serves as the Volunteer Coordinator/Administrative Assistant on the Lighthouse team. She is married to Harold Tyreman, Executive Director of Lighthouse, Inc., and they have three married daughters and 11 grandchildren.
Judy worked as an administrative assistant throughout her career and upon her retirement from a Cleveland public relations position in 2006, she used her administrative skills for the Lord within her church and other ministries. She joined the HeavenTrain team in 2016 as a volunteer and in 2018 accepted the role of Volunteer Coordinator. Her role includes recruiting volunteers, assisting with orientation and training, scheduling of volunteers and activities, monthly newsletter updates, and general support of the Executive Director.
Judy and Harold enjoy traveling internationally, gathering family together for vacations, camping, hiking, cross-country skiing, and leading yearly mission teams to the Dominican Republic.

Food Coordinator
Mary Smith has been serving with HeavenTrain for over 15 years and loving it. She believes all adults should be concerned that children are fed. Fed, first the Word of God and then also their bellies.

Bryan Portz
chairman of the board
Bryan Portz has over 40 years of experience in banking and risk management. He retired from PNC Bank in 2019.
Bryan has been involved in youth ministry and coordinating the Contemporary Service, Greeters/Welcome Center at Royal Redeemer (RRLC) for five years. Working with Staff and Realm in developing a self-selection program for ease of assignments to serve all those attending.
In the same year, he joined the Mentoring Program at Lighthouse Ministries with Cleveland East Tech. He was selected to become a Board of Directors member in 2020. In 2021, he was assigned the lead for the Compliance Committee. He was appointed Chairman of the Board in August of 2024.
Bryan and his wife, Sheryl, have participated in mission trips to the Dominican Republic six times to date.
